Why You Need This Night Light For Kids That Don’t
Like The Dark.
Those long sleepless nights that you have because you feel squished! Yup, that three year old has crawled into bed with you again. Or in my case the three year old, four year old, and two year old have all crawled into bed with you and your newborn.
This was getting me no where. My little ones were to scared to sleep in their own bed. Now I love to co-sleep, but there is a time when you all just don’t fit anymore. I tried so many ways on getting them to stay in there own room all night and nothing was working. Things like…
Cry it out:
This was clearly not for me. It makes me so sad to hear my kiddos cry and not go to them and comfort them.
I bought several of the “plug in”night lights, and If you have toddlers you know they never stay in the wall! My kids kept unplugging them and they would disappear. Plus they were never light enough for them to look at a book in bed or anything, I wanted something a bit brighter.
Sleep with them:
Yeah…This defeats the purpose of trying to have more bed space.
Getting to the root of the problem.
I needed to get to the source of the problem. And in a nutshell my kids were scared. They wanted to be next to me where they felt safe. Why were they scared? The dark played a huge roll. So I needed to find something that my kids wouldn’t unplug and gave enough light for them to feel comfortable but dim enough they could sleep.
I decided to spend a little more for the sake of better nights rest for all of us. So I thought to try out this baby night light.
As it turns out, this thing has been a life saver! It has helped my 4 and 3 year old stay in bed and feel safe. This Night Light is Bright enough for them to read picture books without another light on. It has soft tunes and rotates the stars. My kids love it!
It does plug in:/ so I put a piece of furniture in front of the outlet so my kids wouldn’t attempt to take off with it.
If you are struggling with sleepless nights and kids that are afraid of the dark, give this night light a try, you wont regret it!
